Fall Sip & Sweep, Broom Crafting Workshop

Join us as we commune with friends in a supportive & nurturing environment, snack, sip on a beverage or two & craft a one of a kind broom just in time for spooky season!

This 90 minute workshop will be guided by Jamie Hetzel. Jamie is an alternative & holistic health practitioner and founder of One With the Winds Holistics & Dancing Woods Apothecary. Her diverse & unique background includes attending the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago, literally making the corporate world go 'round for years and in more recent years her education, training and professional endeavors include Flower Essence Counseling, Energy & Sound Healing, and Herbal Medicine Crafting. She has most definately crafted a life for which she is well suited. She enjoys traveling to markets where she offers hand crafted and herbal products, includng the most gorgeous brooms, each piece, a truly inspired work of art!

Many people find the art of broom making to be very therapuetic, with each motion creating a sense of calm & inner peace. Interestingly enough, brooms themselves, as well as the act of sweeping, hold special meaning and significance accross different cultures. During this workshop, we will touch on some of these meanings as well as explore the psychological, emotional, spiritual & quantum effects of the act of sweeping.

All materials needed to craft your broom will be provided and are included in the cost of the workshop. We will also provide a seasonally inspired snack and something fun to sip on while you craft. Jamie will also be bringing some of her product offerings for anyone that is interested in purchasing after the workshop.

Tickets are $35. Spots are limited to 13 participants. Pre-Registration/Pre-Payment is required.
